how to personalise a card
You can adapt the original words on selected cards. For example, you can add the person's name or you can delete the original words (e.g Happy Birthday) and replace them with your own.
Each card has text boxes with grey outlines. They show the places where you can personalise the words on the card. Click inside the text box to change the words.
If your card has words that aren't in a grey text box, then they can't be changed.
You can send the card directly to the recipient or have it sent to you.
If you choose send to me, give your personal address as the delivery address and we’ll post the card to you in an additional outer envelope. This allows you to put a handwritten message into the card before you send it on.
If you choose send direct, give the recipient's address as the delivery address and we’ll send the card direct to them.
Firstly make sure you’ve read the content standards listed in the terms & conditions.
Select click here to upload under add your photo.
You now have the option to rotate, zoom and move your photo. Once you are happy with your photo upload click next step to continue.
You cannot use special characters or emojicons.
Please be aware that whilst some special characters or emojicons may display at the preview stage of the personalisation process, they will definitely not print.
Please note that once the personalisation of your card has been completed and you have paid, your card will automatically be sent to print and your card will be printed containing an error if you have used any special characters.
Click personalise me to begin. You are given 4 page options to personalise: front, inside left, inside right and back. The number of pages available to personalise is dependent on the card you select.
Click next step to continue where you can preview all pages of your card.
Click next to delivery options. You can have the card sent direct to the recipient by clicking send direct or we’ll post the card to you in another envelope, and you can send it on, simply click send to me.
Once you’ve selected your delivery option your card will be added to you basket where you can choose to continue shopping or select checkout.
To ensure your card is printed as desired, where possible for the best quality and clarity on your card, we recommend that your photo is no smaller than 1mb and no larger than 5mb.
This might be because you have not uploaded the correct size photo. All files must be set to the proper format before uploading, as this may affect the cropping of your image.
Our services support .jpg .tiff, .png, .bmp and .gif files but we recommend using .jpg for the best results.
Yes, we currently print colour, black & white, sepia, and any other toned images.
Once you have placed your order it is then sent immediately to the printers to ensure a prompt dispatch. Therefore we are unable to amend or cancel any order for personalised cards once you have completed the order.

You can view your orders by logging into My Account. Click view order history on the left hand side – this will display details of the card(s) and any other products you have ordered. You will also be able to see some basic product information and date details.
Check that you have entered the code correctly as it appears on your gift voucher/promotion code. Ensure you do not add any spaces at the beginning or end of the code. The details are case sensitive therefore must be entered as shown.
Also check that your gift voucher/promotion code is still valid by checking the validity dates.
Orders placed before 2pm are printed and despatched the same day.
All cards are sent via first class delivery. Most deliveries will arrive the following day, but we suggest you allow up to 3 working days for delivery (excluding Sunday).
Large format cards may not fit through a standard UK letterbox, in this instance your postman should leave a calling card for your item(s) to be collected from your local Post Office/Sorting Office. We recommend that these cards are delivered to an address where someone is available to accept delivery, or otherwise please allow additional time when ordering to ensure that your card can be delivered to and collected from your local Post Office/Sorting Office.
We are unable to accept returns, or provide refunds, for personalised cards, unless the product is defective or we are otherwise in breach of our agreement with you and are obliged to do so.

One reason for this may be that your computers privacy settings are blocking your access. If you have set your browser to block all cookies, the Personalised web site will not work properly and you will need to adjust these settings.
In Mozilla Firefox, the browser needs to be set to accept cookies from web sites. To change cookie settings in Mozilla Firefox, go to Tools > Options > Privacy and ensure that the 'Accept cookies from sites' checkbox is checked.
In Internet Explorer 8, the browser settings level needs to be adjusted to accept certain cookies. To change cookie settings in Internet Explorer 8, go to Tools > Internet Options > Privacy and move the settings bar accordingly.
